At least nine individuals have died this Monday in the accident of a MI-17 helicopter of the Colombian Army in the Caribbean division of Bolívar (north of the nation), in response to official sources.
“I remorse the loss of life of the nine members of the Army helicopter flight that fell to the bottom and that it was supplying troops to the south of Bolívar in operations towards the Gulf Clan,” the Colombian president, Gustavo Petro, wrote on the X social community.
The accident of the MI-17 HK3395 helicopter occurred in the city of Guaraperia, in the municipality of Santa Rosa del Sur, at 1:50 p.m. native time (8:50 p.m. time in Spain) when it was supplying troops of the Task Force Army Mars.
The plane crashed to the bottom and the accident left no survivorsin response to the Army.
The deathly victims They are Colonel Jesús David Carvajal; Major Edward Andrey Espinosa; Sergeants Diego Ramírez and Michael Villanueva; corporals Cristian Ordóñez and Jhon Olea and troopers Sman Sanabria, Jesús Montalvo and Yeisson Mendoza.

Other Black Hawk accidents
Last February, a Police helicopter was discovered crashed with its 4 crew members deceased in the division of Antioquia (northwest).
The crew was made up of Major Juan Carlos Morales (pilot), Captain César Andrés Rodríguez (copilot) and deputy mayors Rafael Antonio González (technician) and Feder Alejandro Celis, who in response to the Police died in the accident.
According to the Director of the Police, General William René Salamanca, the Black Hawk had left Caucasia, a city positioned in the Bajo Cauca area, and its remaining vacation spot was Tuluá, in the division of Valle del Cauca, however disappeared when flying over the Antioquia municipality of Caramanta.
